We are working on Horde webmail since it is throwing MySQL errors. Horde still works and email can be viewed/sent from it. No client side issues just server side/backend.
Tonight (July 24) at 9 PM MST, I will be performing maintenance on the server to help with the issue that came up last night.
I will try to keep downtime to the minimum but the worm has attached its self to Plesk. I might have to turn Plesk off to run a full scan on the server. If this happens I will keep downtime to under 30 mins and try to leave the mail server online.
There was an issue with another client at the data center and their new configs for a switch through the core switch out of whack. Additional steps are being taken today to insure this doesn't happen again.
As of 11:36 PM MST, we are currently experiencing network issues with our upstream providers core switch. Techs are on location at the data center. This issue is being treated as an urgent issue.
As of 2 AM today a worm pretending to be a Microsoft Program was trying to take control of the server. At 8:30 AM I contacted the server admin at the data center to help me get rid of the worm. Between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM MST, the mail server and web sites were offline to get the sever memory back under control while we tackled the getting rid of the worm. At 10:00 AM MST we started the mail server and web sites back up and they were back online shortly after. At 10:15 AM MST we got control of the worm and made it so it couldn't find its self. There is a virus scan running on the server as of 10:30 AM and still running. It will be running until well after 3 PM MST. This may cause slowness. Please be patient.
