We have been given notice of Power Maintenance at Miami Exchange as follows:
Primary Dates: 1 Apr 2008 11:00 AM - 1 Apr 2008 4:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time

Location of Maintenance: Miami Exchange Building

Summary Description of Maintenance: Preventative maintenance on First Floor power equipment will take place. This will require transferring servers to a generator power and back to regular power. Building engineers, Electrical engineers, HVAC technicians, and CRG West Operations will all be on-site throughout the entire maintenance window. Best practice and procedures will be employed throughout the maintenance.

According to my provider this is simple maintenance and no outages are expected. If there is downtime you can contact me at 970-518-2431.

Round Cube Web Mail App

The upgrade to the Round Cube Web Mail application has been delayed due to database issues when using webmail.elimedesign.com.

The Horde web mail application is still live at webmail.elimcdesign.com

Web Mail Application Upgrade

On March 18 at 6:00 PM MST I will be changing the web mail application for all hosting clients. The new web mail app is called Round Cube and it's a lot more attractive and user friendly than Horde is. The webmail link webmail.elimedesign.com will not change.

Also with Round Cube I will be setting a default Junk folder for all emails marked as [SPAM]. This means you will need to log into web mail to check your junk mail box unless you have IMAP set up for your email account.

Fiber Loss Again

Today around 5:00 PM MST the NAP of Americas lost a router which resulted in fiber loss to the data center where the server is housed. Web sites are back as of now. Web sites may again go offline if the problem keeps happening. With this outage today eLime Hosting Company has reached 99.3 to 99.4% uptime from our guaranteed 99.5% uptime.

As of tomorrow (3/9/2008) I will be launching eLime Hosting Online @ http://www.elimehostingonline.com which is hosted off site so I will be able to post when things like this happen. Please bookmark this web site and refer to it when you find email and/or web sites not working.

Sorry for all the down time and inconveniences this has caused recently but I can only stand back and wait for things to come back online. 

7 AM MST Down Time

This morning the server went down around 7 AM MST. This was due to NAP of America's network going down. They provide fiber to my provider. The server came back online around 7:45 AM MST. My provider is currently is looking into the situation and hopefully things will be back to 100% in a few minutes. 

Quick Reboot 2

I had to reboot the server again at 4:50 PM MST for IIS debug application.

This is due a web site crashing the application pool. I am continuing to watch the application pool to figure out which web site is crashing.

At 11:25 AM MST there was a quick server reboot for IIS Debugging Tools.

Everything is back up and running.
