We are seeing high memory usage and restarting Plesk services is not getting the memory back down to normal. We will be restarting the server in the next minute.
Due to recent events on the server, the data center team and I will be working on moving everything to another new server. Tonight we will get the new server set up and start transferring information. Email and web sites will be live until we are ready to switch to the new server. This will result in new IP addresses and name servers. The name servers will stay ns1.elimedesign.com and so on but the IP addresses will change.
Due to this server move ALL web site files and stored email messages will be gone through to find where the security hole is coming from. We will be going through everything to make sure nothing harmful gets moved to the new server. All web site files will be scanned for viruses along with emails. We WILL NOT transfer anything that comes up as a threat to client and server security. Also if anything is against the TOS or AUP, the client will be notified within minutes!
Tonight I should get the list of new IP address and will get them emailed out for the new name servers. I will send another email when the name servers are going to be switched and when clients need to have them in affect.
Please take a back up of your web site files, email mailboxes, and databases. MySQL and MSSQL databases will also be moved to the new server.
Tonight at 8:20 PM MST the server was rebooted after the billing system maintenance. During the reboot something happened and the maximum amount of memory was used up by the server. About 10:00 PM MST the server came back online after we got the memory usage under control.
